KAINET is a complete platform able to improve all activities within the factory, reduce costs and increase production and is perfectly in compliance with the fiscal benefits of “Piano Transizione” 4.0.

 

KAINET CLOUD

It is the decentralized cloud component that allows you to receive data in aggregated from on-premises installations of KAINET

or individual IoT sensors deployed throughout the area, in order to perform analysis and monitoring operations remotely from any device, thanks to two main modules:

Remote Dashboard: provides a simple view of information from IoT devices (such as attributes, time sensor readings, statistics, real-time events)
Big Data Storage: allows aggregated telemetry data to be saved for later analysis. They are efficiently guaranteed to persist through a distributed NoSQL database

KAINET CONTROL ROOM

Represents the front-end platform

and has a web interface to access three modules:

Local Dashboard: allows you to monitor and manage device capabilities, machine status and flows by remotely controlling malfunctions or work interruptions
Administration/Configuration: allows authorized accounts to manage the various types of users and roles assigned to them, thus having the ability to configure settings related to their accounts and dataset
Collaboration: allows direct collaboration between different business areas (production, logistics, management, etc.) and/or external suppliers and customers allowing for seamless integration with the industrial supply chain

KAINET CORE PLATFORM

Represents the back-end of the platform

and is composed of the following modules:

Business Analytics: it is the data aggregation and analysis tool. It offers a complete range of functionalities necessary to collect and aggregate business data, flows created by the Process Manager and information coming from the devices
Process Manager: allows to create, model and implement processes at industrial level and eventually add AI and ML algorithms. The Process Manager is an easy-to-use module for the creation of event-based workflows, which are created according to three main components: message, rule node, rule chain
Asset Manager: connects, manages and monitors devices. It allows you to transmit data, send commands, generate events and alarms from devices to the platform and vice versa

DEVICE CONNECTION

This module allows you to integrate the different types of enterprise IoT devices, machinery, and IoT resources through a gateway

to transmit data to the platform and to send commands, notifications and alarms in response.

To configure, collect, and control data from IoT devices. It supports:
MQTT, CoAP, OPC-UA, Sigfox, LoRa and other industrial protocols that can be implemented on demand
Technological Standards of connection Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, Serial, 3G/4G/5G, ZigBee, NB-IoT

IOT DEVICES

IoT Devices are the infrastructural part that is present or implemented in every enterprise, able to digitally interconnect on the network

or by individual IoT sensors deployed throughout the area, in order to perform analysis and monitoring operations remotely from any device, thanks to two main modules.

KAINET identifies two types of devices within it:
Machine IoT: sensors, actuators, machines and robots (M2M)
Humans IoT: all data produced by human interaction with machines (H2M/M2H) such as smartphones, tablets, touchpads etc.

Retrofitting of machinery

It consists of the addition of IoT sensors to old machines to:
– capture, process and transfer information that has not been processed yet;
– analyze and optimize performance;
– avoid buying expensive new machinery.
